Worship at Delta is relaxed and flexible. We sing praise to God with contemporary music and traditional hymns, all accompanied by piano. There is a conversation with the children. The proclamation of the Word is rooted in Scripture and can take a variety of forms. Biblical characters have shared their stories and we have journeyed to ancient Jerusalem to be there for the events of Holy Week. Even traditional sermons are enhanced through the use of our 3 large screens and projectors. Through the school year worship is enriched by the Celebration Choir (adult choir) and the Bellievers (hand bell choir). At least once a month we celebrate communion, and invite all who follow Christ to join us as we remember Christ's suffering. Most Sundays worship lasts about an hour.
Once a month, on the Fourth Sunday of each month at 6:30 pm, we offer a Taizé Prayer Service. This is a quiet, candle-lit, contemplative service with repeated simple songs, periods of silence, and prayer.
