Longest Night Worship Service The weeks leading up to Christmas are often portrayed as the most wonderful time of the year, but for many of us, this season can feelheavy with grief, loss, loneliness, or struggle. If the holidays find you in a difficult place this year, you are not alone. December 21st is the winter solstice, the longest night of the year, and we will gather at 4:00pm for a Longest Night Service at Delta. This is a quiet, contemplative service that creates space to acknowledge our pain and name our losses, while also holding onto the promise that even the longest night eventually gives way to morning. We will light candles, share prayers, and sit together in honest recognition that God meets us not only in joy but also in sorrow. Whether you're grieving the death of someone you love, navigating illness or uncertainty, feeling the weight of broken relationships, or simply finding this season harder than usual, this service is for you.
