The Bellievers, Delta's handbell choir, was established in 1994 with a generous donation and memorial gifts. It began with two octaves of Malmark bells, and a year later the third octave was added with honorary and memorial gifts. After the death of one of its ringers, the choir donated a three octave set of Malmark Choirchimes as a memorial. Additional gifts and memorials have allowed the choir to add the bells necessary to complete the 4^th octave of the set. As another memorial the choir purchased beautiful wind chimesand stand. The choir is a member of the American Guild of English Handbell Ringers (AGEHR) and annually participate in the Lansing Area Ministry of Bells (LAMB) Spring Ring Workshop and Concert. Generally, the Bellievers ring once a month during Sunday morning worship. They have played a yearly Christmas concert for the community since 2000. If you're interested in joining the bell choir, rehearsals are Thursday nights at 6:15 pm.
